The Intermediate Master Class
Take your stained glass practice beyond copper foil
This exclusive 1-day workshop is limited to only 3 students per instructor.
The Intermediate Master Class is designed for those who have experience and are comfortable cutting glass and building pieces using copper foil and are ready to move on from smaller pieces such as sun-catchers, using lead came to create cleaner, stronger lines while saving time and money. This is a unique and valuable learning experience for stained glass artists who want to expand their existing skills.
Students arrive with an approved pattern pre-printed and their glass pre-cut. With 1-on-1 instruction and hands-on learning, they will leave Wabi-Sabi Workshops with a 18 in x 18 in zinc framed window panel, and the confidence and knowledge to create larger complex traditional leaded stained glass window panels by adopting the same leadworking techniques Master Artisans have been using for almost 1,000 years. You will also learn how to save money with lead working where there is no need for patina, cooling fluid, cutter oil, or expensive lead stretchers. We’ll even throw in some extra bonus gear and perks, like discounts on future classes.
